Popular swimming Area revived: Žanj again an Attraction in Town

Kupalište Žanj bpkg.gov.baThe most popular swimming area of Goražde Žanj, in the heart of the town, revived after the relevant authorities finally cleaned and arranged the beach which was until recently completely overgrown with scrubs and grass.

This was done after numerous criticisms via social networks, so the citizens of Goražde, especially young people, can find refreshment in one of the prettiest Bosnian rivers.

The popular ‘’Games on Žanj’’ were once organized at this attractive beach, and according to the announcements it is possible that they will be organized this year also.

The only problem for the visitors of the town beach is the regulation of the dam on which the water temperature depends, so the river Drina is during the summer usually ice cold for the swimmers, but also a challenge for all those who wish to escape the summer heat.
