Members of the BiH Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today arrested a person in the area of Sarajevo based on a Finnish Interpol warrant for drug trafficking.
SIPA announced that a warrant has been issued for this person in order to extradite him to Finland for the criminal offense of international drug trafficking.
Based on operational information, this person was located by the officers of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he was handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Sipe FAST team, who arrested him and took him to the premises of Sipe for criminal processing.
The arrested person will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the legal term.
In today’s activities, cooperation was achieved with the competent police bodies of Finland, Srna news agency writes.
