A stronger Earthquake was recorded early this morning in BiH

A stronger earthquake was recorded early this morning on the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

The earthquake was recorded at 6:11 a.m., and according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, the epicenter was 76 kilometers east-southeast of Mostar and 22 kilometers northeast of Bileća.

The EMSC states that the magnitude of this earthquake was 3.6 degrees on the Richter scale.

“It lasted short but strong”, “It woke me up”, “Short shaking”, “Strong but short”, are just some of the testimonies of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the EMSC website.

Also, according to testimonies, the earthquake was felt quite strongly in Montenegro as well as in Croatia.

There is still no data on possible material damage, but earthquakes of this intensity usually do not cause it.
