Packages for Returnees klix.baThe Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the BBI Bank and partners Klas, EuroAsfalt, Securitas and BBI Real Estate, launched a humanitarian campaign of the distribution of food packages and hygiene items to a thousand returnee families in eastern Bosnia.

The packages were distributed to the returnees in Foča, Rudo, Višegrad, Rogatica, Žepa, Vlasenica, Bratunac, Srebrenica and Zvornik.

The total value of the donation is 100.000 BAM, and it is about the packages which, among other things, contain 25 kilograms of flour, ten liters of oil, ten kilograms of sugar, a kilo of coffee and other similar food and hygiene items.

“During the blessed month of Ramadan, the Islamic Community in cooperation with BH companies shows concern for our people who are of lower economic status. We want to facilitate fasting during the month of Ramadan. We have prepared a rich package that amounts from 120 to 130 BAM. By this, the Islamic Community wants to continue the cooperation with our companies in jointly helping people who need help”, said the director of the Directorate for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Islamic Community in B&H Razim Čolić.

The BBI Bank has earlier as well collaborated on similar projects, and participation was not lacking this year either. However, this time it’s about a somewhat larger project.
