Italy participated as a partner country in the fifteenth edition of the Scholarship Fair organized by the University of Sarajevo (UNSA).

The event was marked by a significant presence of Italian universities, including the University “G. d’Annunzio” (campuses in Chieti and Pescara), the Polytechnic University of Marche and the University of Trento, as well as a large number of students who visited the “Corner Italia”, specially arranged in the UNSA Rectorate building.

This year, the fair confirmed itself as a unique opportunity for students and teachers, offering the possibility to learn more about the numerous opportunities for study and professional development in Italy. Special emphasis was placed on scholarships as a strategic tool for accessing academic programs in our country, with the aim of encouraging international mobility, attracting talent and advancing the development of cultural and professional relations between Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Italy’s participation as a partner country in the UNSA Scholarship Fair testifies to the commitment to academic cooperation, international mobility and education of new generations in BiH,” said Ambassador Castellani.

“International mobility opportunities represent an essential instrument of cultural diplomacy, crucial for the promotion of Italian culture and the strengthening of ties between our countries. Furthermore, they contribute to building bridges of understanding, dialogue and mutual respect – elements that have a particular meaning in the context of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where interethnic reconciliation remains a fundamental priority.”
