Acting Chief Prosecutor met with Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to BiH

Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina Gordana Tadić, together with her associates, met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bosnia and Herzegovina H.E. Reinout Caspar Vos, Deputy Head of Mission Mina Noor and members of the multidisciplinary team of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in charge of the fight against trafficking in human beings, which consists of high-ranking officials of the Prosecutor’s Office, Border Police and National Police of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, respectively, who are engaged in criminal cases of trafficking in human beings, smuggling of persons and illegal migrations.

During this meeting, the activities conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the cases of trafficking in human beings, smuggling of people and illegal migrations were discussed, especially with regard to the increased number of the criminal offences related to illegal migrations and smuggling of migrants in the past year.

Acting Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić informed the Ambassador and the delegation about the activities of the Task Force for Fight Against Trafficking in Human Beings and Organized Illegal Migrations and presented the results of its activities.

The delegation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands supported the work and the activities of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina conducted so far.

Also, there were discussions about the future cooperation between the multidisciplinary team of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cases related to the aforementioned criminal offenses.
