Activists of the Anti-Corruption Network distributed fliers in Zenica

On the occasion of the International Anti- Corruption Day that is being marked on the 9th of December, the Anti-Corruption Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a street action in front of the Municipality of Zenica.

The activists of the Anti-Corruption Network from Bosnia and Herzgovina ” Account” distributed the fliers in the form of fake 200 BAM bill. With this act, they symbolically pointed out the problem of corruption.

” We are here as representatives of the Anti-Corruption Network in B&H ” Account”, with only one goal, and that is to distribute fliers and try to educate further the public about the effects of corruption in our society”- said a volunteer of the Citizens Forum, Ivana Martinović.

A large number of citizens of Zenica paid attention to the fliers and took their time to read the inscriptions about corruption. Similar street actions will be held in Banja Luka, Livno, Mostar, Cazin, Tomislavgrad, Kalesija, Sarajevo, Brčko District, Trebinje and Bratunac. These street actions will serve to raise awareness about the level of corruption in our country and to educate the public how in our country an amount of 4.060.800 BAM disappears on a daily basis, which is 47 BAM per second.
