Filming of the movie “Secrets from the Past” by the Turkish director Rasit Gorgulu, whose production house “Bor Medya” is also the producer of the film, began in Sarajevo on July 8, stated the casting agency Zona.
The film is about a young man Ali from Turkey who finds out that he is adopted and comes to Bosnia to find his biological mother. Main roles in the film are played by the Turkish actor Serkan Senalp and the Macedonian actress Nataša Petrović, who is represented by the agency Zona from Sarajevo.
Other actors and actresses who will appear in the film are Emir Hadžihafizbegović, Selma Alispahić, Mirsad Tuka, Amila Terzimehić, Maja Jurić and Gordana Boban from BiH, Slavko Sobin from Croatia, and Haluk Piyes from Turkey.
One of the roles will be played by the famous Turkish actress Suzan Kardes, who is staying in Sarajevo these days.
The movie will be filmed until July 28 in Sarajevo and around Sarajevo. Executive producer is “Scena” and the greater part of the creative and technical crew is from BiH.
