This film has been awarded at festivals in Odessa, Zurich and participated at the Cannes film festival, and one of the stars of the film is BiH actress Zana Marjanović.

The main role of the film is played by Tim Roth, and Marjanović plays Kasia, Roth’s nanny whose boyfriend is Irish actor Cillian Murphy.

’Broken’ is the film that talks about the 11 year old girl from northern London whose childhood is changed by everyday scenes of violence.

Music was done by Damon Albarn, frontman of the band Gorillaz.

Film has participated at many festivals and plans to participate at even more, and has already received a number of awards.

Critics of prominent world film magazines, such as Screen and Hollywood Reporter noted that ‘Broken’ is the film that will become very popular in cinemas, that show films of independent production, all over the world.

Talking about the work process and cooperation with the film team Marjanović said: ‘Having in mind that the director of the film is Rufus Norris, one of the most important theatre directors for the UK, preparations for the film were similar to theatre. Concerning that manner of work, the actor has full liberty in creating his or hers characters, and time too, and so the actors’ creations are something that viewers and critics point out as the biggest strength of the film’ said Magacin Kabare.
