Ademovic: The Arrest of BiH Citizens in Serbia is an Attempt to equate the Aggressor and the Victim

At yesterday’s press conference of party People and Justice (Narod i Pravda: NiP), the political director of this party, Kemal Ademovic, spoke about the current relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Serbia and called on the authorities in Belgrade to immediately release all BiH citizens who are in prisons in this country.

Ademovic emphasized that it is intolerable for Serbia to arrest the citizens of BiH again, for whom it cannot be determined that they are guilty of what the authorities in the neighboring country are accusing them of.

“It is inadmissible to continue arresting BiH citizens in Serbia. From Jurisic, Omanovic, to Edin Vranj. What message does Vucic want to send and what kind of pressure does he want to create on BiH? This pressure applies only to non-Serbs because in parallel with the arrest Vucic is holding joint events with the representatives of the Republika Srpska (RS), which shows that he does not respect the integrity of BiH and that he draws different borders than those that are internationally establishedand recognized, “Ademovic told.

Also, he pointed out that the messages that Vucic sends when he comes to Sarajevo do not correspond to reality and his acts.

“We cannot trust Vucic. We understand the arrest and prosecution as an attempt to revise the facts established through international bodies and as an attempt to equate the aggressor and the victim. The United Nations (UN) war crimes commission found that 85 percent of the crimes were committed by Serb forces, 13 percent by Croatian, and only 2 percent bythe Army of the Republic of BiH (RBiH), “Ademovic said.

He also stated that he never said that the Serbian people were genocidal and that no one thought so.

“The World Jewish Congress completely rejected the alleged report of the RS commission on Srebrenica and called thatdocument shameful. We never said that the Serbian people were genocidal and we do not think so. The regimes were condemned as were their leaders led by Karadzic and Mladic. The message and lesson for those who understand is also the way they ended up, ” he emphasized.

Finally, Ademovic once again called on the institutions to protect the citizens of BiH. If that does not happen, he pointedout that the officials of the NiP are ready to propose a set of measures that will define the relations between Serbia and BiH.

“The problem between BiH and Serbia is not a problem between the people but states. Vucic and Vulin do not respect the sovereignty of BiH and that is obvious. Vucic’s statements that Serbs will never apologize to anyone again are not good messages, because everyone must apologize for all bad deeds and prosecute their war criminals. We call on the Serbian authorities to release the citizens of BiH immediately and to finally start a fair treatment of BiH, otherwise, we will propose a set of measures given that Turkovic and Dzaferovic are not doing anything specific. A boycott of products and services from Serbia will be among the first proposed measures, ” concluded Kemal Ademovic, Klix.ba writes.
