The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the proposal of the Federal Minister of Internal Affairs Ramo Isak, today adopted the Regulation on the uniform police uniform of the police forces in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The unified police uniform will be worn, that is, used by police officers of the Federal Police Administration and all cantonal ministries of internal affairs during the performance of duties and tasks under the jurisdiction of the police authorities.

The uniform police uniform consists of the basic police uniform (classic and work uniform), the uniform for the criminal police, the uniform for special police units and units for specialist support, as well as for units of another name that perform tasks of the same type (work and tactical uniforms), uniforms for intervention police and for units of another name that perform tasks of the same type, ceremonial police uniforms, police uniforms for work abroad, and additional parts of police uniforms.

The adoption of the Regulation on the uniform police uniform of the police forces in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a clear message that speaks of the extremely good cooperation of the police administrations in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is crucial in the fight against all forms of crime.

On that occasion, Federal Minister of Internal Affairs Ramo Isak stated that he is proud of the fact that the preconditions have been created for all police officers in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to be equipped with high-quality uniforms and additional uniform parts.

“We worked diligently on the drafting of the Regulation on the uniform police uniform of the police forces in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, together with the annexes, has several thousand pages. So, we are talking about extensive material, which was worked on by quality personnel, which I hereby publicly praise. I use this opportunity to thank all the cantonal ministers of the interior and commissioners for their extremely good cooperation, and the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for their support,” said Isak, the Federal Ministry of the Interior announced.
