Advent in Mostar opened its doors at the campus of the University of Mostar. This place, as well as the city promenade, will be a place of pre-holiday atmosphere and special attractions for almost a month.

“This is the time of forgiveness and consideration of the needs of our beloved ones, as well as the time of giving,” said the Minister of Finances in the Government of the FBiH, Jelka Milicevic.

Many exhibitors will have the opportunity to present their work during the 29 days of Advent, and this year’s novelty will be disco skating and mascots from cartoons that will be there for the little ones. The children from Mostar will have the opportunity to enjoy shows, performances of children bands and dance groups, creative workshops, art workshops, workshops of technical culture and screenings of cartoons.

Humanitarian meals will be distributed every evening at about 6 PM, and young people with special needs will participate in this action, which will give them the opportunity to gain their first working experience.

Numerous artists, creative workers, and musicians will perform at the Advent and they will bring back the spirit of communion and warmth in Mostar. St. Nicholas, Santa Claus, and elves will visit Advent in Mostar, and the traditional bicycle run of Santa Clauses will be also organized in collaboration with bicyclists from Mostar.
