NikolicPresident of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic is against the referendum on the judiciary in Republika Srpska, said Nikolic’s advisor Ivan Mrkic.

On the question whether Nikolic took a clear stand regarding the intentions of the President of RS Milorad Dodik to call the citizens for referendum vote, Mrkic said that Tomislav Nikolic is sharing the opinion of Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic regarding this issue.

“President of Serbia agrees with the Government of Serbia. Serbian government declared on referendum, and President of Serbia shares their opinion,” said Nikolic’s advisor, as reported by Tanjug.

He also added that “referendum is the most democratic expression” but that, given the fact that it is Republika Srpska, then “everything is a bit special”.
