Affordable mortgage loans for youngs in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) could be available already from this March, according to yesterday’s BH edition of “Vecernji list.”
As stated, the Government of the FBiH and the state-owned Union Bank are planning to allocate 10 million BAM each for that credit line.
“The final changes of the decision are made, and this credit line will soon be available to young people. With this project, the Government of FBiH wants to send a message that it wants to help young people to stay, live and work in BiH, “ as the Federal Minister of Finance, Jelka Milicevic, said for ‘Vecernjak.’
For each mortgage loan you will be able to get up to 150.000 BAM. The repayment term is up to 20 years, and the fixed interest rate will be 2.99 percent.
Credits will be taken by young people up to 40 years of age. Those under the age of 35 will not have to pay the loan approval, while processing costs will be charged to people aged 35 to 40 years of age.
As it was announced by the federal Government, loans will be evenly distributed throughout the FBiH.
