The web platform called katapult.ba was launched in B&H, which is based on the principle of crowd funding. The aim of the platform is to encourage entrepreneurship, securing initial funding for the launching of various start-up businesses, as well as opportunities for investors for bigger and smaller investments.
Also, katapult will encourage initiatives of a community service character, including cultural, sport and scientific projects. Katapult.ba, as the first B&H crowd funding platform, gives all the opportunity to finally implement their ideas. This platform will be a meeting place for young enthusiasts, experienced and less experienced entrepreneurs, investment partners and socially responsible citizens.
Describing the idea of the platform, the owner of the project idea tries to collect all the necessary funds through channels. A good description of the project, video presentations as well as a team that leads it is key factors of a successful campaign. Of course, the team of katapult will help to promote the idea through their channels.
Katapult.ba is a project supported by the Firma Project, which is behind USAID and the Swedish Agency for International Development and Cooperation (Sida).
