Based on the recommendations of the International Monitoring Operation (IMO), which statistical authority received after a visit in February, and decision of the director of the Agency for Statistics of BiH to intensively work on activities related to the processing of census results, the meeting of Census Bureau of the Agency for Statistics of BiH was held on Thursday with the aim of determining and organizing the following steps in the processing of census and following the recommendations of the IMO team.
“It was concluded that during the next week, intensive activities in the processing of the results census will be continued. Thus, the staff of statistical institutions, which is working on the processing of census results, will continue to work in the Central processing place,” as announced from the Agency for Statistics of BiH.
Also, consultations with international experts for censuses will be intensified, software for probabilistic and deterministic on the raw database will be prepared and tested, and they will also work on other procedures for making the categories of population.
Detailed revised Plan of Activities on the processing of census materials is prepared, in accordance with the recommendations of the IMO mission and the legal deadline for the publication of the census results, which will be submitted to the Central Census Bureau on approval.
Central Census Bureau should adopt the Plan of activities, within which should be defined the start of the publication of the census results and unique program for processing results of census which also contains a set of rules for the execution of a resident.
The session of the Central Census Bureau will be held by the end of next week, as stated from the Agency for Statistics of BiH.
