The B&H Minister of Civil Affairs Sredoje Nović and representatives of 37 medical institutions in B&H signed today in Sarajevo agreements on the donation of medical equipment within the Protocol on donations of the government of the Republic of China.
Minister Nović reminded that medical equipment, which is the subject of the agreement were donated within the donations of the Chinese Government, concluded on 27 September 2012, and on the basisgof the Agreement on economic and technical cooperation of 2005.
“With the today’s signing of agreements, 37 medical institutions in B&H will receive 10 ultrasound machines and 40 dental kits, worth 1.273 million USD”, said Minister Nović.
He stressed that since the signing of an agreement on economic and technical cooperation the government of China has provided significant support and assistance to B&H in regards to achieving lasting political and social stability and improving economic development.
“The government of China continues to support B&H by strengthening capacities of medical institutions, thus creating the conditions for long term and sustainable health care services in the community”, said Minister Nović, thanking the government and the Ambassador of China for this significant help.
