Retirees in the RS, who have an average retirement up to 336 BAM, will receive a one-time assistance in the amount of 100 BAM, and those who receive up to 850 BAM will receive 50 BAM, while retirees whose retirement amounts to more than 850 BAM will receive 30 BAM.

“The payout of this one-time assistance is planned for the month of September,” said the Prime Minister of the RS, Zeljka Cvijanovic.

It will be necessary to allocate around 17 million BAM for these purposes, she added.

“As we already stated, all the extra money in the budget will be directed towards the improvement of the population of retirees,” said Cvijanovic after the meeting of the entity government.

She also announced that the entity government will work on the improvement of the position of retirees in the RS who have regular monthly income.

The President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, also said that he attended this session on which they adopted the decision on a one-time assistance for retirees, after the fiscal system in that BH entity was stabilized.

The President of the Association of Retirees, Rade Rakulj, stated that he hopes that the people he represents will continue having the support of the Government when it comes to improvement of their material position.
