The Zvornik Company ‘Alumina’ plans to offer four new products on the market this year-one from the area of hybrids, and three from the program of aluminosilicate chemistry.
Director of Marketing at ‘Alumina’ Radislav Filipović said that this is a profitable market, of minor importance in comparison to the existing products, but which provides stability and a better market position for this company.
He added that work has already begun on installing the necessary equipment for two products and that technical documentation has been prepared, and entry to the market with these products is expected in the first half of the year, while the other two products will be placed on the market in the third and fourth quarter.
In a statement by ‘Alumina’, it states that such development policies will contribute to a better partnership relation with many buyers.
Filipović said that this company has a stable position on the market and that it currently has products in more than 20 countries in the world, and is the only one in Europe that is not directly related to producers of aluminum and can create its own production programs.
More than a million tons of bauxite ore will be necessary for the work of ‘Alumina’ this year, and currently all bauxite mines in B&H and Montenegro are tied to the Zvornik company.
