britanski ambasador slike 5The British Ambassador to BiH Nigel Casey, together with the Mayor of Tuzla Jasmin Imamović and the reisu-l-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović, will participate at the opening of the fifth Tuzla Summer Institute that is implemented by the NGO Bosnian Initiative for Local Development (BILD) from Tuzla and the Tuzla Mufti, announced the British Embassy to BiH.

The opening will take place on Thursday, 27 June beginning at 11:30 on the premises of the Behram-begova medresa in Tuzla.

The Tuzla Institute for High School students, other students and business people teaches practical skills such as IT, English and business skills.

The purpose of the Institute is to provide better preparation for studying at university, careers, and the role that citizens have in a democratic, multiethnic, secular society. Some of the former students of this Institute are successful young business people today.

Since 2011, this Institute has teamed up with the Doboj Summer Institute, which established excellent cooperation among citizens and leaders of the Tuzla-Doboj Canton.
