On the 14th of March 2024, Ambassador KINEFUCHI attended the handover ceremony of an Ambulance for the health care centre, which was held at the Health Care Center Novi Travnik, with the presence of Dr. Ivanka Mađar-Šimić, Director of the aforementioned institute, and Mr. Stjepan Dujo, Mayor of Novi Travnik Municipality.
Director Mađar-Šimić extended her gratitude and emphasized that the donated ambulance vehicle will ensure safe and efficient emergency transport.
Ambassador KINEFUCHI expressed his hope that this assistance will be of great benefit to the residents of the Novi Travnik Municipality and beyond.
Through the program “Basic Grant of Assistance for Human Security Projects (GAGP)” Japan granted 61,585 Euro (approx. 120,450 BAM) to equip the Health Care Center Novi Travnik with an Ambulance vehicle for its patients.
The project is expected to provide safe and reliable emergency transport to approximately 1,800 patients who need to be transported by the vehicle annualy.
