Ambassador of Japan to BiH handed over Two Ambulance Vehicles to the Health Care Center in BiH

On the 21st of September 2023, Ambassador KINEFUCHI attended the handover ceremony for the “Project for Equipping Health Care Center Maglaj in Maglaj with Two Ambulance Vehicles”, which was held in the premises of the Health Care Center Maglaj at 11:30 o’clock, in the presence of Ms. Nalić Medžić, Director of the Health Care Center and Mayor of Maglaj Municipality, Mr. Mahmutagić

Director Nalić Medžić expressed sincere appriciation to the Embassy of Japan for the vehicles donation, stating that the vehicles will lead to a significant improvement of the services that the Health Center provides to patients.

Ambassador KINEFUCHI expressed his satisfaction about the smooth implementation of the project and hopes that this assistance will be of great benefit to all the residents of the municipality of Maglaj and beyond.

Through the grant scheme, which is relatively small but directly benefits the people’s living and wellfare program “Basic Grant of Assistance for Human Security Projects (GAGP)” Japan approved 76,912EUR (approximately 150,400 KM) to equip the Health Care Center Maglaj with two ambulance vehicles. The project is expected to contribute to the improvement of transportation service and timely provision of medical aid for approximately 1,000 patients annualy.
