The Ambassador of Slovenia to BiH Andrej Grasselli visited Cazin in the Una-Sana Canton (USK) as part of his visit.

During the meeting with the Mayor of the municipality Nermin Ogrešević, the intention of establishing closer economic cooperation and possibility to apply for joint projects with EU funds was highlighted.

“Today we spoke of the possible business cooperation. In June we will have a meeting of business people and we agreed what has to be done until then in order for it to be successful. I am grateful that the Mayor said that municipality Cazin is preparing for a partnership with a municipality from Slovenia, which will be used for the joint application of projects for EU funds and intended for local communities for development’’, said Grasselli.

The Mayor of Cazin Nermin Ogrešević said how this municipality is interested in the European path and European integration.

“We wish for cooperation and this is the only way we could implement the goals of our community’’, he said.

The first opportunity for testing will be scheduled in June, during the meeting of businesspeople from Krajina and Slovenia, and support for the projects will be tied to European integration, announced the European Movement for BiH, whose President Predrag Praštalo was also in Cazin.
