Revenues from indirect taxes in the first six months of 2016 amounted to 3 billion and 106 million BAM, and they are increased by 93 million BAM or 3.09 % in comparison to the same period in 2015 when they amounted to 3 billion and 13 million BAM, as announced from the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA).
Only in June 2016 was collected a total of 562 million BAM of indirect taxes, which is 24 million BAM more compared to June 2015, and it is the highest amount of collected indirect taxes in the month of June since the establishment of the ITA.
After the completion of VAT refunds to taxpayers, which in the first six months of 2016 amounted to 523 million BAM, the net collected revenues that went on distribution to users during 2016, which are the state, entities and Brcko District, amounted to 2 billion and 583 million BAM, which is an increase of 106 million BAM in comparison to revenues that users got in the same period in 2015.
For funding of state institutions in the first six months of 2016 was allocated 371 million BAM, which is the same amount as in the previous couple of years. The rest of the funds ended up in the entity cash registers as follows: 1 billion and 395 million BAM to the FBiH, 726 million BAM to the RS and 77 million BAM to Brcko District.
Besides distributed revenues, on the basis of special tolls for highway construction (0.10 BAM) in the first six months of 2016, the FBiH obtained additional 33.8 million BAM, the RS 22.4 million BAM and Brcko District 1.1 million BAM. The difference represents a reserve in a special account for the toll in the amount of 0.10 BAM.
