An Italian military Plane is circling over Banja Luka

A military plane of the Italian Air Force has been circling over Banja Luka for some time. The flight of this aircraft can be tracked on the page that records the flights of all aircraft in real–time, Flightradar24.

As can be seen, the plane flew from the south of Italy near the town of Catania and has been flying over Banja Luka for a while, where it has made a large number of circles.

The page states that it is an IAM41188 aircraft of the Italian Air Force. It is not known what his mission is, but these aircraft are mostly used for observation and surveillance.

To recall, the European Union Force (EUFOR) recently decided to increase its military presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Apart from that, it was noted that the French military aviation will report several flights over BiH in the next few days with Rafale-type jet planes.

According to EUFOR, in light of the deteriorating international security situation, and also as a precautionary measure, the commander of Operation Althea accepted a voluntary offer from the French state to conduct several jet training flights over BiH in the following weeks.
