An Orange Meteoalert issued for Bosnia and Herzegovina

Sunny and hot weather will prevail in Bosnia and Herzegovina today, which is why the orange weather alert is in effect.

Wind weak to moderate, mainly west and south-west. Daily temperature from 33 to 39 degrees Celsius, in Sarajevo around 36.

According to the forecasts of the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute (FHMZ) of BiH, Monday will be sunny with low to moderate cloudiness. During the afternoon, there will be more cloud cover from the west, which in Herzegovina, western and northwestern areas of Bosnia may cause showers and thunderstorms. During the night, in most of the country, rain, showers and thunderstorms. More abundant precipitation in the southern and western areas of the country. Wind weak to moderate, occasionally with strong gusts, south and southeast. Morning air temperature from 19 to 24, in the south up to 28, and daytime from 30 to 36, in the northeast of Bosnia up to 39 degrees.

Occasional strong gusts of wind in the western areas of Bosnia. Morning air temperature from 16 to 22, in the south up to 24, and daytime from 25 to 31 degrees.

On Wednesday, moderate to mostly cloudy and unstable weather with showers and thunderstorms, which may be more pronounced locally. The wind is weak to moderate in the northern areas of Bosnia, from the north, and in the rest of the country from the south and south-west. Morning air temperature from 13 to 19, in the south up to 22, and daytime from 19 to 25, in the northeast of Bosnia up to 28 degrees.

On Thursday, mostly cloudy and unstable weather with rain, showers and thunderstorms, which may be more pronounced locally. The wind is weak in the northern areas of Bosnia, north and northwest, and in the rest of the country, south and southwest. Morning air temperature from 14 to 20, and daytime from 16 to 22, in the south and northeast of the country up to 26 degrees.
