The first plane on the new Copenhagen-Sarajevo airline landed tonight in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) plane arrived from the capital of Denmark to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina in two hours.

From Sarajevo, SAS planes will depart for Copenhagen on June 19, 21 and 25.

In addition, the line will continue every Wednesday from July 3 until August 21.

The price of a one-way flight, from Sarajevo to Denmark, costs around 100 euros, it was announced earlier from the International Airport in Sarajevo.

Sarajevo International Airport records its best results. Although the goals are as many passengers and as many direct lines as possible, this year promises records.

Namely, the airport in Sarajevo had 151,252 passengers in May, which is an increase of more than 30 percent compared to May 2023. At that time, 115,976 passengers passed through the Sarajevo airport. During the summer months, new records are expected to be set due to the tourist season.

From the airport in Sarajevo, about twenty planes take off daily for numerous destinations. In addition to regular lines, there are new seasonal lines from Milan, Brussels, London, Warsaw and cities in Greece and so on, Klix.ba reports.
