Analysis: The average Monthly paid net Salary in the Federation of BiH

The average monthly paid net salary per employee for November 2023 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was 1,310 BAM and is nominally higher by 1.9 percent, and in real terms by 2.0 percent, compared to the previous month, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average paid net salary for November 2023 is nominally higher by 12.8 percent, and in real terms higher by 12.7 percent.

The analysis of data by activities of the KDBiH 2010 shows that in November 2023, compared to October of the same year, the monthly net salary increased the most in the following activities: Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles by 5.4 percent, Manufacturing by 4.3 percent and Information and Communications by 3.8 percent.

At the same time, the largest decrease in the average monthly paid net salary was recorded in the following activities: Agriculture, forestry and fishing by 2.6 percent, Water supply; waste water removal, waste management and environmental rehabilitation activities by 1.5 percent and health and social protection activities by 1.0 percent.

The average monthly gross salary paid per employee for November 2023 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was 2,037 BAM and is nominally higher by 2.1 percent and in real terms by 2.2 percent compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average gross salary of employees for November 2023 is nominally higher by 13.2 percent, and in real terms higher by 13.1 percent, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.
