Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Continue to Care about Collective Center Residents

Collective Center Splavište bbkg.gov.baThe representatives of UNHCR, accompanied by the Mayor of Goražde Muhamed Ramović, visited the tenants of the buildings on Splavište, whose construction was initiated by the famous Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie.

Humanitarian packages provided by UNHCR were donated to the tenants, helping 36 families living on Splavište.

The recordings which were made by the TV crew of the Regional Housing Programme, about the living conditions of these families nowadays, will be forwarded to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

Namely, thanks to their visit to the refugee center on Splavište a few years ago, a roof over the head was provided for these people. More precisely, two modern buildings have been constructed, financed by the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany.

This way, many families have been taken care of-after nearly two decades of living in an impossible conditions.
