Anniversary of the Crime against Camp Detainees who were suffocated

13582226_1226489024068718_907609930_oAnniversary of the crime against camp detainees who were suffocated in trucks during the transport from Sanski Most to the camp Manjača will be marked today at the locality of the mouth of the Dabar River, near Sanski Most.

The Camp Detainees Association in BiH reminds that on the July 7, 1992, 66 camp detainees from the camp “Betonirka” were loaded on one truck and hermetically closed under the tarpaulin.

They were already exhausted and at the end of their strength from staying in the place known as the most notorious camp at the territory of the Sanski Most Municipality, where they were beaten and tortured every day.

Nineteen camp detainees died in torment on the way to Manjača. Their bodies were found on July 17, 2001 at the mouth of the Dabar River, stated the Camp Detainees Association in BiH.
