Tuzla_panorama_1 (1)The 3rd international energy fair Energa 2013 will be held from 4-7 June in Tuzla. It is a unique fair in BIH and in the wider region, and this is demonstrated by the fact that there will be respected local and foreign institutions from the energy sector that will present a variety of research and production achievements, as well as the opportunities for various forms of business cooperation’’, said at yesterday’s press conference in Tuzla.

This year’s fair is being held under the slogan ‘’Thinking the Future’’.

“This year’s Energa 2013 represents an important economic manifestation that will gather a large number of participants from this area, business and science. Around 100 firms will be presented from 10 countries from various areas of the energy sector: energy in general, mining and related industries, producers of electricity from fossil and renewable energy sources, to the production of modern, energy efficient materials’’, said the President of the Tuzla fair Zlatko Alidžanović.

The conference this year will gather around 60 participants and will be a place where participants will have the chance to hear experiences, above all from Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia, countries from the region, and high officials from the European Commission and the EU, as well as the Director of the Secretariat of the Energy Community from Vienna.

Organizers have also expressed their expectation that the conference Energa 2013 will hold a session on solar energy to confirm the interest and expansion of the interest and readiness for the use of solar energy in BiH. The exhibition devoted to solar energy presents a platform for new opportunities, for the development of new relations and the establishment of new partnerships in the area of research, development, production and the distribution of solar technology in the region.

The energy sector, as a branch of the economy, not only in Tuzla but all of BiH, should take a dominant position in the future.

“Reasons and motives of the organization of such an event lies in the tradition of the Tuzla region and defines the future of all of BiH and the region through the sector of energy. Situating these stories allows us to create a brand of the Tuzla Canton that will be recognized by energy’’, said Radmir Žilić, member of the Organizing Committee of the fair.
