Under the organization of the UNEP Program, the government of BiH and many local partners and sponsors will hold a series of activities from 3-5 June in Sarajevo to mark World Environment Day, as a host for this day for the region of Europe.
The topic of this year’s World Environment Day is on reducing waste from food and is taking place under the motto “Misli.Jedi.Štedi (Think.Eat.Save)”.
“The main message of the event in Sarajevo is “Zato što brinemo: dijelimo” (Because we care), and will be held in three aspects of sharing ideas around which all activities are concentrated-sharing of food, information, knowledge’’, announced the team for the organization of World Environment Day in Sarajevo.
