Arrested Lawyers handed over to Prosecutor’s Office

prosecutors office CSAfter the criminal investigation by members of the Federal Police, the arrested lawyers were handed over to the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor’s Office CS.

Lawyers Esad Hrvacic, Ismet Hamzic, Selma Taranis, Samina Skopak, Vildana Ligata, workers in Hamzic’s law firm, Zaim Spahović and Muamer Pita are suspected of organized crime in conjunction with the criminal offenses of abuse of office and forging official documents.

They are charged to unlawfully exercise the transfer of ownership to approximately 70 properties in Canton Sarajevo, by which they obtained gain to themselves and others.

After the hearing, the prosecutor will decide on further measures, that is whether they will ask for custody of the suspects.

To recall, members of the FP, acting by the orders of the Prosecutor’s Office, carried out a search at 10 locations in CS and arrested seven people.
