Arrival of Participants of the Peace March Nezuk – Potočari

Yesterday, after eight days journey, the participants in the Peace March Nezuk – Potočari entered in the Memorial Centre “Potočari”. The column was headed by the survivors of Podrinje.

 

“Around 5 000 participants entered in Potočari and it was glorious. The atmosphere was fantastic and we did not have any problems “ said the vice president of the Subcommittee for the organization “Peace March”, Muhizin Omerović.

 

The leader of the Peace March Hamdija Fejzić said that upon entering the Memorial Centre, participants will assist in holding coffins of victims of genocide.

He pointed out that 34 participants successfully passed 240 kilometers, adding that each of them expressed a desire to participate next year on Peace March as well.

On July 11th , 175 victims of genocide will be buried.
