The keeper may have played his last game for Stoke at the Britannia Stadium because he is reported to be wanted by a number of clubs, including Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea among them.
However, while a substantial offer could see Begović sold, the keeper has made clear he won’t be hammering on Tony Pulis’ door and demanding a move in the meantime , reports The Sentinel.
He said: “All the speculation is flattering and nice, but I am focused on my job here.
“As long as Stoke want me, I am contracted. I know football is a business and we will see what happens.
“You never know what is around the corner, but as far as I am concerned I am planning to be here.
“I am happy here and I am desperate to help the club push forward. We all want to win trophies and be as successful as we can, that is the main aim.”
Begović, is under contract to the summer 2016, but his impressive performances have seen him linked with a £15m move to a number of Champions League clubs.
He added: “I do have ambitions to play at the highest level and test myself if the opportunity arises.
“I can’t think too much ahead. I am just thinking about here. I am contracted and there’s nothing more I can say.
“I am just focusing on my job here. I am given the opportunity to play every week and that has been great.”
