multiCongratulations to the Bosnia and Herzegovina-based Association Multi for being named winner of the Atlas Network’s 2014 Smith Student Outreach Prize for “its projects that encourage students and young professionals to participate in the process of social change in the country:

Association Multi is the first libertarian organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It seeks to promote the ideas of liberty focusing on the benefits of free initiative and entrepreneurship.

Some of Association Multi’s current projects include the training program “Liberal Academy”; weekly discussion meetings “Mises Cafe”; and the “Catallaxy” seminar series, which reached nearly 1,000 students in 2014.

Association Multi Founder Admir Cavalic said, “If someone a few years ago asked me if it was possible to gather more than a hundred students on the theme of liberty in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I’d say he was joking. Today it is a reality!”

Launched in 2013, the Smith Student Outreach Prize is an annual award recognizing the best student-focused project for liberty. The first winner was Estudantes pela Liberdade in Brazil. The winning organization receives $3,000 and is selected from among current year grantees. The Prize is sponsored by the Smith Family Foundation.
