At the Srebrenica Municipal Assembly, where leaders will agree on a date for regular meetings that would adopt a working program of the Assembly and the mayor, is scheduled for tomorrow.

“My program of work will be based on the “Platform 2020″, and the majority of my colleagues will have the opportunity to use the platform to say what they want. As the mayor, I am open towards my colleagues, I did not put myself in the position where I am asked for everything. I do not want so much responsibility. All mayors will have independence in their work as long as they act within their department in accordance with the law”, announced Mayor of Srebrenica Ćamil Duraković for news agency FENA.

He said that in the future period, despite the financial crisis, he will dedicate himself to creating new jobs.

“Citizens should be given a chance to work and to go forward in this direction. In February the firm ‘Prevent’ will hire ten new employees, and the firm TMD (metal), which is located in the same building as ‘Prevent’, will also hire 10 workers. Therefore, at the beginning of the the year there will be 20 new jobs, emphasized Duraković.

He stressed that the implementation of reforms of utility companies will create the opportunity for new jobs.

“There is a plan for the integration of the public company “Public Service Broadcasting RTV Srebrenica” and tourist organizations that will be integrated in the cultural center. With that, we will decrease the cost of administration and management, and by trying to preserve as many jobs as we can, we will create a better financial effect”, added Duraković.
