Basic Second Round ATP Belgium oslobodjenje.baIn the fifth round of the ATP tournament in Doha, our tennis player Damir Dzumhur will play against Marco Cecchinato, while Mirza Basic, if he passes the qualifications, could test his abilities against Novak Djokovic.

Dzumhur’s opponent is the 90th player in the world. So far, our best player and the Italian met only once, and Damir took a victory in 2013 in Zagreb with a score 2: 0.

In the second round, if he passes, Dzumhur might play against the winner in the match Berdych – Stakhovsky.

Basic will have to eliminate Dustin Brown in qualifiers tomorrow, who he already defeated once at the end of last year in Brescia with the score 2: 0, in order to enter the main tournament.

If he manages to do it, the potential opponents in the first round are Novak Djokovic, Leonardo Mayer, Martin Klizan and Robin Haase.

The tournament in Doha is played for a prize of 1,283,855 USD.
