ATP Doha: Dzumhur defeated Cecchinato

dzumhurThe 90th tennis player of the world, Italian Marco Cecchinato, and 82nd player of the world and the best BH tennis player Damir Dzumhur played in the sixteenth-finals of the ATP tournament in Doha. Popular Dzumi won the match with the score 2: 0 in sets.

At the beginning of the match, both Cecchinato and Dzumhur stood firm on their serves, and then in the 9th game our tennis player made a break and achieved the score 5: 4, and finished the first set with successful serve with the score 6: 4 in games after 36 minutes.

Dzumhur made a break in the fifth game of the second set and led with the score 3: 2. He won his serve, and then made another break for the score 5: 2. It was his chance to finish this match with his serve. He won the second set with the score 6: 2 in games, thus qualifying for the next round of the ATP tournament in Doha. The second set lasted for 26 minutes, and the match in total lasted for 62 minutes.

In the next round, Dzumhur will play against winner of the match between Tomas Berdych – Sergiy Stakhovsky, which is scheduled on Tuesday.
