hidrocentralaSoon the FBIH, or more precisely municipality Zavidovići, will be enriched with three new mini hydro power plants on the river Gostović – MHE “Čardak”, “Rujevica Ušće” and “Botašnica Ušće”.

This is an investment company “EBH” from Sarajevo, whose owner is Austrian company “Energy Eastern Europe Hydro Power”. In addition to Sarajevo, investors from Austria founded the company that leads investments in mini hydro power plants in the RS, or to be more precise “ERS” with a seat in Banja Luka.

In an interview with ekapija.com, The Director of the Sarajevo-based  “EBH” Adnan Halilović said that the main motive for investing in BIH was the fact that our country is full of hydropower.

“In addition to that, we are convinced that in the future this form of energy will be more used, which is more environmentally acceptable than conventional forms of energy’’, said Halilović.

For “EBH”, the launching of mini hydro power plants in Zavidovići is only the beginning of investment in the hydro potential in the FBIH, and they hope that current administrative difficulties will be removed.
