Average Salary in Federation of BiH is lower compared to previous Month

The average net monthly salary per employee in November 2019 in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina amounted to 932,00 BAM, and was nominally lower by 1.1 percent compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month a year earlier, the average net monthly salary for November 2019 was nominally higher by 2.8 percent and in real terms by 2.6 percent.

The average gross monthly salary in November 2019 in the Federation of BiH was 1,436 BAM, and was nominally lower by 1.0 percent and in real terms by 1.3 percent compared to the previous month, stated the FBiH Statistics Institute.

Compared to the same month a year earlier, the average gross monthly salary earning for November 2019 was nominally higher by 2.9 percent and in real terms by 2.7 percent.

In November 2019, the total number of employees in the Federation of BiH was 536,210. Compared to the previous month, the total number of employees remained the same.
