BalkanCrowdfund successfully completed the campaign for “Education Builds Bosnia and Herzegovina”

Divjak_VelagicBalkanCrowdfund (BCF), successfully completed the first campaign – by “Education Builds BiH” – through a crowdfunding on October, 17 2014. On that occasion, Alen Velagić, Country Manager and Project Manager of BalkanCrowdfund for Bosnia and Herzegovina presented the voucher in the value of 1.143,67 BAM to the representative of the “Education Builds BiH”, Jovan Divjak.

This pilot project of the BalkanCrowdfund and the Association provides financial support to children and youth who are currently training in onr studying. The campaign has achieved its goal- a total of 117 percent of the planned amount within 30 days. In the twenty years, since “Education Builds BiH” exists, 54,635 of them children and young people and their families used the services of the value of 9,704,970 BAM.

Through the BCF website, a project of “Education Builds BiH” was recognized by many BH donors, members, friends and a number of donors from Europe and the USA. It was a safe, qualitative and transparent way to fund the project via BCF.

BCF – Invest in Future (Invest in the future) is a foundation based in Vienna, which was founded and established by people who have strong ties with countries in the Balkans.

In BiH, there is definitely increasing understanding of the concept of crowdfunding as one of the safest forms of investment and one of the most transparent, which complete the amounts collected invest in the project. This contributes to a positive effect on the knowledge that the results of the project not only improves the efficiency of the economic and employment sector, but also lead to a better future, more growth and change for the common good of all people, not only in BiH, but also beyond.

A team of young and dynamic professionals have taken the first step in the development of collaborative financial industry, which is globally increasing. “BalkanCrowdfund is able to fill the financial gaps, through the financing of projects in the early stages of a highly innovative startups of small and medium enterprises through effective counseling, assistance in accessing markets and setting up a project for all business units,” Alen Velagić said, adding that in the coming period, plans to continue the program BCF increased capacity throughout BiH.

BalkanCrowdfund’s concept is based on the fact that no project is too small or too large and that any legal person from the region of directors to entrepreneurs, counselors to author your goal can be achieved through this platform.
