On 5 June, Wednesday, citizens of Sarajevo will have the opportunity to enjoy the ballet play called ‘Thumbelina’ which will be shown in Sarajevo National Theatre at 2 p.m.
The piece is written by Hans Christian Andersen, while the choreographer of the play is Nermina Damiani.
‘Thumbelina’ is about a tiny girl and her adventures with appearance- and marriage-minded toads, moles, and cockchafers. She successfully avoids their intentions before falling in love with a flower-fairy prince just her size.
The music for the ballet is written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
