On the occasion of the commemoration of the 29th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica and the burial of the identified victims of the genocide, today and tomorrow there is a ban on the transportation of explosive materials on the territory of the Federation of BiH, as well as on the road routes: Drinjača-Konjević Polje-Milići, Konjević Polje-Bratunac-Srebrenica, Drinjača -Bratunac, Vlasenica-Luke and Srebrenica-Zeleni Jadar.

At 8:00 a.m., the third stage of the bicycling memorial marathon “Bihać-Srebrenica 2024” and the Supermarathon “To never repeat and forget” starts from Sarajevo. The planned route for today is through Olov, Kladnje, Vlasenica, Milić, Bratunac to Potočari. Motorcyclists will join them a little later. All drivers are asked to drive carefully and slowly when passing cyclists, motorcyclists and marathon runners.

Tomorrow, July 11, there will be a traffic ban for trucks over 3.5 tons on all roads leading from Sarajevo, Tuzla and Zvornik to Srebrenica.

Traffic on the Jajce-Crna Rijeka main road has been suspended due to work on the rehabilitation of escarpments and unstable slopes. Vehicles are diverted to the road via Jezera and Mrkonjić Grad towards Crno Rijeka.

Rehabilitation works are also current on the main roads: Lašva-Kaonik, Kladanj-Vlasenica, Dobro Polje-Miljevina, Bijeljina-Rača, Čevljanovići-Nišići and Semizovac-Srednje. Traffic is slow at other work sites.

At the border crossings, vehicle traffic is currently with shorter delays.

Until the end of August, the Krstac border crossing (on the Gacko-Nikšić road) was opened for passenger traffic.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of the maximum permitted weight at the Karakaj border crossing, near Zvornik. Cargo vehicles over 5 t are diverted to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing, BIHAMK announced.
