Since April, Banja Luka Airport has introduced charter flights to three new destinations – Barcelona and the Greek islands of Crete and Rhodes.
As stated by the Director of the Airport, Natalija Trivić, these arrangements have already been contracted. They are being introduced as part of planning to increase the number of passengers by 10 percent this year and exceed the number of 500,000 passengers annually.
At the same time, all charters from last year remain operational, except for the Tivat – Banja Luka line, which was discontinued.
The airport has finished work on the new parking lot, which seriously increased the number of parking spaces, which was a significant problem.
By the summer season, it is planned to open a duty free store, which should significantly increase revenues, Klix.ba reports.
