Banja Luka to allocate 3.2 million BAM for the Action Plan for Employment

banja lukaA total of 3,250,000 BAM was allocated from the budget of the city of Banja Luka for the implementation of measures that are foreseen within the Action Plan for Employment for this year.

Acting Head of the Department of Economy in the City Administration of Banja Luka Radenko Komljenovic said that the main aim of the program is to increase the number of employees and to establish a stable and sustainable trend of increase of employment.

The key areas for the implementation of employment policy are the support to domestic and foreign investments, financial support in the field of economy and encouragement of the development of entrepreneurship with stimulating measures,” said Komljenovic.

Komljenovic also added that these measures also reffer to the support to the development of entrepreneurship, incentives for agriculture production and rural development, as well as incentives for the development of the tourist offers and their development.

In the part of the budget of the Department for local economic development and strategic planning for investment in the infrastructure, a total of 1.015.000 BAM is planned for the business zones Ramici-Banjaluka, and 15,000 BAM for co-financing of the Foundation Innovation Center Banja Luka.

A total of 800,000 BAM is planned for incentives for agricultural development in the budget of the Center for Agriculture and Development of Rural Areas.
