Banja Luka To Host European Championship for Juniors in Kayaking and Canoeing

ECABanja Luka will host ECA- European Championship for juniors in kayaking and canoeing from 16 to 20 July.

The organizer of this competition is “Vrbas” club.

Participants from 16 countries have confirmed their participation and competitors of four more European national teams are expected.

Competitors  of Rowing Club”” Vrbas, who are also members of the national team of B&H are preparing on daily basis for the upcoming competition and regardless of weather conditions young competitors are preparing everything to host the European Championship in Banja Luka.

ECA -European Championship is supported by the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of RS, and is declared the event of special interest for RS, which would greatly facilitate this year’s organization.

Team of  “Vrbas” Club has so far organized the European Championship 2011 and two World Cups 2012 and 2013, and there is no doubt on the successful organization of this year’s event.

They consider that this year will be the largest and most visited event so far.

Opening Ceremony of the European Junior Championship in kayaking and canoeing will be held on 16 July at the Kastel fortress, and on this occasion will perform Banja Luka bands, “Neuro” and “Važno obavještenje”.
