Basketball: BiH Cadets Beat Slovenia 82:63, Will Play Against Russia Tonight

košarkaThe basketball national team of BiH beat Slovenia yesterday with 82:63 at the international tour in Tivat, Montenegro.

Those chosen by the selector Emir Halimić traveled to the tournament in Tivat as part of preparations for the European Championship B-division that will be held from 8-18 August in Sarajevo.

At the tournament, teams from BiH, Russia, Slovenia, Montenegro will participate, and after the win against Slovenia BiH basketball players will play a game tonight in the second round match against Russia.

BiH players are: Ljubo Zadro, Nemanja Marković, Amin Sijerčić, Emin Mavrić, Amar Gegić, Nedim Đedović, Edin Atić, Đorđe Aleksić, Damir Hadžić, Atif Durak, Jasmin Jakupović, Alija Pirić, Fahrudin Manjgafić, Enis Memić, Bože Galić, Emir Ahmedić, Tarik Krvavac and Amar Bećar.

In the preparations of young BiH basketball players, they will play 2 games in Slovenia, and afterwards a game against Montenegro in Sarajevo. The last test before the beginning of the championship in Sarajevo will most likely be against Portugal on 5 August.

BiH will play in the group that includes Slovakia, Netherlands, Israel and Denmark.
