Member of BiH Presidency meets the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait

Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović received the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Salah A. Albannai, on his inaugural visit, wishing him a successful diplomatic mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.

He stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina appreciates Kuwait’s support so far and wants to further improve interstate relations in the coming period.

Ambassador of the State of Kuwait Salah A. Albannai thanked for the warm welcome, and emphasized that during his mandate he will work on deepening bilateral cooperation, with a special emphasis on economic relations, tourism and education.

He stressed that Kuwait remains firmly committed to supporting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Special attention during the talks was paid to strengthening economic cooperation and investment opportunities in the fields of energy, infrastructure, agriculture and tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Numerous advantages of investing in the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina were highlighted, such as geostrategic position, natural resources and a skilled workforce.

As an area with special potential, tourism was highlighted as one of the important directions of future cooperation. The positive trend of increasing the number of tourists from Kuwait to Bosnia and Herzegovina was emphasized.

The conversation also highlighted the importance of the development projects implemented by Kuwaiti institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina to date – the Office of BiH Presidency Member Denis Bećirović announced.
