Becirovic meets with the Former President of the Presidency of the Former Yugoslavia

Member of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović, on the occasion of November 25, the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited the former president of the Presidency of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, politician and diplomat Raif Dizdarević.

During the conversation, Bećirović emphasized the importance of ZAVNOBIH, which restored the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina on November 25, 1943. The anti-fascist struggle of the people and nationalities of Bosnia and Herzegovina placed our country on the right side of history. The foundations of the modern state of Bosnia and Herzegovina were laid on the decisions of ZAVNOBIH.

The member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, said that the new generations have an obligation to remember and remind of important historical moments from our past and of personalities who marked the past.

Raif Dizdarević left a deep mark by performing the duties of President of the Presidency of the SFRY, President of the Assembly of the SFRY, Federal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, and he was also a direct participant in the People’s Liberation Struggle, announced the Cabinet of BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović.
